It all started while having a cup of chai, the conversation between a couple. It was a rainy day with a cool breeze touching the feet, rainbow view from the balcony, the bare ground opposite, houses here & there, railway track view on the right side and home-grown plants on their left. The couple used to discuss everything under the sun, & that fine day, the wife asks her husband about his industry as she was from an Engineering with MBA HR background working as a HR in a Pvt company.The husband briefs about the apparel industry and his experience of entering this industry at the age of 18. Though his parents were earning for bread & butter, he was more interested in learning on-the-job than learning at school, therefore, pursued a diploma & continued to work with passion to learn practically.
It’s been more than 18 years now in this field & he learnt a lot, understanding the buyer from different corners of the world like US, UK, Canada, Poland, South Africa, etc. He gradually shares his idea of starting their own brand. The rain started heavily, and they decided to move inside the house with the discussion in progress.
He continues briefing the pros & cons of the competitors & strategies to fill the current gaps in the apparel business. His focus is always on Quality of the product & the brand will never compromise. Though his maverick knowledge in knitwear clothes initially it fetched good business in corporates on bulk t-shirt orders, stocks selling on kids wear, selling within kith & kins, so it’s started with many such small inputs each & every second. Now, we’re here after 7 years starting KIBASU as our family member, with the same josh & enthusiasm for delivering quality products & timely delivery.
